Job Responsibility

Plan, schedule, and execute Aramark’s sustainability initiatives, programs, and events
Waste Audit (2 semester)
Coordinate Farmer Market Events on campus
Assist in implementation of Aramark sustainability events (Earth Month, etc.)
Research sustainability ideas from other universities/industries for possible implementation
Responsible for managing all sustainability event tables including scheduling as-needed interns, ensuring engagement, and taking photos for social media
Collaborate and partner with Slippery Rock University’s Sustainability Coordinator and any sustainability groups and departments that may be on campus to enhance partnership
Responsible for maintaining knowledge on SRU’s sustainability initiatives and ensuring we are doing our part to stay current to ensure we grow with the University in this area
Co-ordinate Social Media updates on sustainability program with Marketing Coordinator

Currently pursuing (for working student) or having recently completed a Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in economics, development or environmental studies, sustainable finance, international relations, or a related field
Experience in data analysis, including using statistical analysis with quantitative and qualitative data
Proficiency in MS Office, strong Excel skills are essential

Strong interest in sustainability topics and in supporting Finance in Motion’s mission
