At Nova, a leading telecommunications, media and technology group, we are looking for a Sustainability & ESG Officer to join our Corporate Affairs team, reporting directly to the Corporate Affairs Executive Director. Nova is committed to driving sustainable growth, innovation, and positive societal impact, contributing to the sustainability objectives of United Group. The role offers hands-on involvement in shaping and implementing Nova’s sustainability agenda, with exposure to senior leadership, group-level initiatives, and key external stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Accelerate Nova’s sustainability and ESG agenda, embedding sustainability across business operations, strategy, and culture
  • Coordinate the 2026 materiality analysis, stakeholder mapping, and prioritization of ESG topics
  • Lead the coordination of sustainability reporting, including data collection, collaboration with external providers, editing, validation, and assurance, ensuring alignment with GRI Standards
  • Support the integration of sustainability into corporate strategy, risk management, and business processes
  • Monitor EU and global ESG regulatory and market developments (ESRS, CSRD, climate and sustainability trends) and translate them into actionable insights
  • Drive internal engagement, ESG awareness, and training initiatives across functions (energy efficiency, carbon reduction, e-waste, inclusion, ethics)
  • Contribute to the development of policies, tools, dashboards, and KPIs to track sustainability performance
  • Coordinate flagship CSR initiatives, collaborating closely with NGOs, academic institutions, authorities, local communities, and youth-focused programs
  • Act as a connector between internal teams and external sustainability partners

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • 3–7 years of professional experience in Sustainability / ESG roles, ideally within telecoms, technology, media, or other fast-paced corporate environments
  • Hands-on knowledge of GRI Standards, sustainability reporting, and materiality assessments
  • Familiarity with emerging frameworks such as ESRS, TCFD, SASB, SDGs, SBTi
  • Experience in multi-stakeholder project coordination, CSR, or social impact initiatives
  • Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills in Greek and English
  • Strategic thinking combined with attention to detail and the ability to translate ESG concepts into practical actions
  • Relationship-building mindset, adaptability, and creativity
  • High ethical standards and genuine passion for sustainability and positive societal impact
