Job Description

As Sustainability Enablement Manager, you will play a key part in Softcat's sustainability journey. The world of sustainability within Softcat continues to grow and advance, driven by internal operations, market opportunities, and solutions offered to Softcat's customers.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the Softcat account teams in extending and strengthening relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Develop a strong understanding of Softcat's ESG strategy and communicate it to internal departments and customers as required
  • Work with the sales teams and account managers to attend customer meetings to communicate Softcat and industry sustainability updates as required
  • Produce and provide data reporting as agreed with the account sales teams and customers
  • Consistently look for ways to improve our sustainability offerings, proactively gather feedback from customers, and ensure it is shared with the appropriate stakeholders
  • Contribute to the creation and ongoing development of marketing collateral
  • Assist in answering tenders and supplier questionnaires where required

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable presenting to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Experience in the technology industry would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of environmental sustainability would be beneficial
  • Able to multi-task and prioritise requirements, whilst maintaining a focus on quality work
  • A passion for the consistent delivery of exceptional customer service
  • Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication and time management skills
  • The confidence to take ownership of problems and challenges when needed
  • Good time management and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Work with other stakeholders to support in the delivery of sustainability and circular targets
