Job Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented, passionate and motivated Sustainability Consultant to join our team in Bengaluru, to work on some of the most exciting sustainable projects in India, MENA and around the world. Working under the guidance and supervision of more experienced staff, you will develop your existing knowledge and skills in performance modelling, sustainability studies, Low-carbon design, life cycle analysis, green building standards & certifications and assist with the development of Sustainability and Building physics strategies for project developments and businesses. As an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team, and working with colleagues across MENA and global offices, you will analyse, report and model Environmentally Sustainable Design projects and liaise with clients with the aim of expanding the sustainability portfolio, in line with Cundall’s Zero Carbon Design 2030 Target.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop existing knowledge and skills in performance modelling, sustainability studies, Low-carbon design, life cycle analysis, green building standards & certifications
  • Assist with the development of Sustainability and Building physics strategies for project developments and businesses
  • Analyse, report and model Environmentally Sustainable Design projects
  • Liaise with clients with the aim of expanding the sustainability portfolio, in line with Cundall’s Zero Carbon Design 2030 Target
  • Support and develop key work streams: Building physics, environmental modelling and analysis, AI and parametric modelling
  • Planning, certification (LEED, WELL, BREEAM, etc.) and building regulations

Requirements:

  • Engineering, Architecture or built environment-related degree
  • LEED AP
  • 3 to 6 years of experience within ESD consulting & Building Physics in the built environment sector, specifically in the MENA region
  • The ability to lead projects and junior staff and positively represent the business
  • Experience with preparing strategy, implementation and certification of best practice schemes, including LEED, BREEAM, WELL, GSAS, Estidama and Mostadam
  • Advanced Experience in Microclimate and building physics modelling (Energy, Daylight, Comfort, Parametrics) in general, and Design Builder & IES-VE software in specific
  • Familiarity with Architectural modelling software platforms, including Revit, Sketchup & Rhino
  • Solid understanding of the relevant industry codes across the MENA region
  • Possess a body of knowledge allowing you to evaluate ESD attributes and opportunities within designs, and where improvements are required (mechanical, façade, spatial etc)
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong Presentation & Reporting skills
  • Excellent Organizational skills
  • Flexible and Dynamic Character
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, effectively planning to meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage the various sustainability aspects of complex design and construction projects, with aspiring Net-Zero carbon targets

  • Experience with Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) using OneClick, E-tool or equivalent software
  • Experience with ESG and Corporate Sustainability principles
