  • Coordinate third-party verification and assurance processes for sustainability data, as required
  • Maintain a compliance calendar and ensure timely submission of required filings (e.g., emissions reporting, energy audits, waste tracking, chemical reporting)
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and auditors during environmental inspections, compliance reviews, and reporting cycles
  • Support development and implementation of internal policies and procedures related to environmental compliance, responsible sourcing, and ethical business practices
  • Identify and assess compliance risks related to sustainability and lead corrective actions or process improvements
  • Develop and manage systems and tools for accurate data collection, validation, and reporting across departments
  • Collaborate with IT, Operations, HR, and other teams to ensure timely and accurate data sharing
  • Analyze sustainability performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
  • Partner with departments such as Operations, HR, Procurement, and Finance to embed sustainability and compliance into day-to-day practices
  • Lead training and awareness initiatives to build internal capacity on sustainability topics and regulatory requirements
  • Represent the organization in industry sustainability groups, forums, and benchmarking initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Considerable experience in sustainability reporting, ESG compliance, or environmental management in a corporate setting will be preferred
  • Deep knowledge of sustainability frameworks and regulatory reporting standards (GRI, SASB, ISSB, CSRD, TCFD, etc.)
  • Experience working with data management systems and software (e.g., MS Excel, Power BI, Salesforce Sustainability Cloud, or ESG platforms)
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

Nice to have:

  • Mission-driven and passionate about sustainability and corporate responsibility
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Effective communicator with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
  • Comfortable working independently and in collaborative, cross-functional teams
What we offer:

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, plus retirement savings plan
  • A pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainable agriculture
  • Opportunities for career advancement in a rapidly expanding organization
  • A dynamic and friendly work environment, with an active social committee organizing events such as sports activities, BBQs, and fun gatherings
  • Thrive in a supportive, team-focused environment with work-life balance, team events, and perks like coffee/snack corners and referral bonuses
