Job Description:

We are seeking a senior sustainability specialist with practical experience in the Carbon Management, Sustainability Reporting and Sustainability-related standards to develop and delivery our verification/assurance services.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct training/verification services related to carbon management standards and guidelines, including ISO 14064-1:2018, ISO 14067:2018, ISO 14068:2023, and GHG protocols
  • Validate/Verify carbon offset projects in accordance with international carbon credit mechanisms such as CDM, Act 6.4, VCS, GS, and others
  • Conduct the advisory/assurance service for CSR/Sustainability Report based on ISAE 3000 or AA1000AS standards
  • Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) training/verification services
  • Execute other tasks as assigned by the Sustainability Manager, such as providing training or preparing technical documentation

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's/ Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Climate Change, or equivalent
  • With at least 4-5 years of professional experience in Carbon Verification or Sustainability Report Assurance
  • Practical experience with Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015), ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor is a plus
  • Practical experience with Social-related standards, such as SMETA, BSCI, CSR, …
  • Practical knowledge of Carbon management, Off-setting project, and Sustainability reporting & disclosure
  • Experience working with GHG inventory databases/ Life cycle assessment (LCA) software/ Sustainability standards/frameworks
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Carbon management and Sustainability reporting
  • Proficiency in carbon footprint calculation/LCA tools and software
  • Expertise in organizational and product environmental impacts assessment
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Familiarity with international carbon reporting/sustainability reporting frameworks
  • Comfortable with presentations and interactive training methods
  • Occasional travel for on-site advisory
  • Proficiency with digital training platforms and presentation technologies
  • Adaptability to evolving climate change regulations
  • Exceptional technical communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse clients
