Full-time Surveyor position available in Subiaco WA 6008. Silverstone is a leading provider of multi-disciplinary turnkey solutions in civil construction, energy infrastructure and mining services, delivering complex projects across remote and brownfield environments. To support ongoing project delivery, Silverstone requires a qualified Surveyor to undertake accurate site measurements, capture spatial data and produce detailed survey plans supporting design, construction and operational requirements across active project sites. The role is critical in ensuring construction works are delivered in accordance with design specifications, tolerances and regulatory requirements while supporting safe and efficient project execution.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct field surveys including topographical, construction set-out, boundary and engineering surveys
Operate surveying equipment including GPS, total stations, scanners and drones to capture accurate site data
Collect, process and analyse spatial information using surveying and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 12D and Trimble systems
Provide accurate set-out for construction works and verify completed works comply with design specifications
Prepare survey plans, reports and as-constructed documentation supporting construction and project delivery
Maintain accurate survey records, field notes and documentation
Monitor and maintain surveying equipment ensuring calibration and operational readiness
Liaise with engineers, project managers, contractors and clients regarding survey requirements and project coordination
Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with WHS regulations and company procedures
Assist project planning activities and contribute to continuous improvement of surveying processes across operations
Requirements:
A bachelor degree in Surveying or higher qualification
Demonstrated experience in construction, civil, mining or infrastructure surveying environments
Proficiency in modern surveying equipment and spatial data processing software
Knowledge of Australian legislation, engineering standards and land administration processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with high attention to detail
Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams
Nice to have:
Experience across mining, civil or infrastructure project environments
Experience using laser scanning, UAV mapping or advanced surveying technologies
Experience mentoring or supporting junior survey team members
