Surveyor

Mountjoy Ltd is contracted to provide responsive maintenance and void property works for Woking Borough Council. This is for both in hours and part of a call out rota. We are seeking a conscientious and enthusiastic Surveyor with a can-do attitude and flexible approach. This role requires strong technical capability in building construction and diagnostics, with particular emphasis on identifying root causes of damp, mould, and disrepair issues. The successful candidate will be required to complete building surveys, scope remedial works, and ensure that corrective solutions are designed and delivered effectively. A high degree of accuracy, professional judgement and attention to detail is essential. Alongside technical competencies, the role requires the ability to plan, initiate, manage and close small-scale projects using both contractors and directly employed operatives. The post holder must ensure consistent quality, compliance, and value for money from initial survey to final sign-off.
