Job Description:

Join our team and be the mastermind behind transforming surveys into precise digital maps using AutoCAD Civil3D or Carlson software. Blend desk-bound expertise with occasional fieldwork to ensure accuracy and safety in our projects. Your role isn't just about technical prowess; it's about shaping the landscape responsibly and ensuring the well-being of all.

Job Responsibility:

  • Research previous survey evidence, drawings, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys
  • Determines methods and procedures for establishing or reestablishing survey control
  • Keeps accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed
  • Coordinates findings with work of engineering personnel, customers, and others concerned with the project
  • The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required

Requirements:

  • Have a sound understanding of Optical Survey Equipment (i.e. Total Stations, Theodolites and Auto Levels) for the applications of civil verifications, structural installation and alignment, mechanical installation, and alignment as well as experience of establishing work points, datum’s, benchmarks, elevations, and control monuments
  • Possess the ability to trouble shoot and come up with solutions on the job to keep the work moving forward
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred
  • Must be willing to travel and provide hand tools as required for the job
  • Must have the ability to lift over 50 pounds occasionally
  • Excellent vision or correctable vision required
  • Requires a large amount of walking on the job site
  • Travel is required to various job sites
  • Requires a considerable amount of overtime/weekend work
  • Must be able to climb to heights up to 300 feet
  • Candidates must show the capacity to proactively initiate, effectively lead, and consistently uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the United States for our company without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
