Job Responsibility:
Assist the Project Manager with daily surveying tasks, both in the field and in the office
Set up and operate instrumentation required for the collection or layout of survey data in the field (includes RTK/GPS, robotic total stations, controllers/data collectors, and automatic levels)
Transmit survey data to the proper files in the computer network and acquire the data for field use
Perform construction staking activities, including slope staking, utility offsets, streets, and commercial lots
Prepare neat written field notes and daily records
Maintains cut sheets for staking projects
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED required
Minimum three years of experience in the surveying industry
Valid driver's license and able to pass the drug test requirements
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
Nice to have:
Bachelor's or Associates degree preferred
Level I Certified Surveyor Technician Certificate preferred
