Job Responsibility

  • Assist the Project Manager with daily surveying tasks, both in the field and in the office
  • Set up and operate instrumentation required for the collection or layout of survey data in the field (includes RTK/GPS, robotic total stations, controllers/data collectors, and automatic levels)
  • Transmit survey data to the proper files in the computer network and acquire the data for field use
  • Perform construction staking activities, including slope staking, utility offsets, streets, and commercial lots
  • Prepare neat written field notes and daily records
  • Maintains cut sheets for staking projects

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Minimum three years of experience in the surveying industry
  • Valid driver's license and able to pass the drug test requirements
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's or Associates degree preferred
  • Level I Certified Surveyor Technician Certificate preferred
