Job Description:

The Survey Specialist (Analyst), with guidance from project managers and senior executives, will be responsible for supporting CSL with the tactical day-to-day administration and operation of all survey and focus group processes and advanced statistical analysis. Additionally, the Specialist will work to improve and enhance the survey platform. The role needs strong market research experience and aptitude for innovative approaches to generating customer insights for multiple stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop primary research insights to produce well-organized and comprehensive client-ready reports
  • Analyze data from a number of sources and derive commercial insight for clients
  • Deliver superior customer service and meet client needs, commitments and deadlines
  • Lead design and execution of market research projects
  • Develop and enforce survey design best practices
  • Build surveys using advanced survey programming tool (i.e. Sawtooth, Qualtrics)
  • Leverage data from multiple sources (quantitative and qualitative) to drive insights into customer profiles, choices, and behavior
  • Expand the range and scope of research CSL performs to understand customer preferences and predict customer behavior
  • Implement custom java script code into client surveys to render custom functionality as needed
  • Develop and code surveys to ensure responsive design and rendering on mobile devices
  • Overall project management responsibility through the survey life cycle, including programming, launching, in-field monitoring and on-going client communication
  • Test quality assurance of online surveys
  • Schedule and monitor email invitations for online surveys
  • Report on response rates while survey is in-field
  • Troubleshoot issues with in-field surveys as they may arise
  • Work closely with the client and the survey team to ensure flawless execution
  • Interpret data and produce clear reports that illustrate research findings and insights

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Market Research or Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience
  • 3-5 years of experience leading market research studies using a range of methodologies such as conjoint analysis, maximum difference scaling, multivariate analysis, survey analyses, interviewing techniques, discrete choice techniques, segmentation
  • Demonstrated experience translating broad business challenges into actionable research projects, and driving those projects to successful completion
  • Ability to document and present research findings to support actionable strategies
  • Detail oriented with attention to the rigor of the design, methodology, and analyses
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • willingness to champion new tools, processes, and methodologies as aligned with business needs
  • Expert proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SPSS
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills, with an emphasis on managing and meeting deadlines
  • Self-starter
