We are seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Survey CAD Technician to support our residential, commercial, civil, and energy-sector surveying projects. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, exceptional organization, and the ability to collaborate in a fast‑paced, high‑performing environment.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare property plats, including easement, boundary, Land Title, ALTA, and subdivision surveys
Collaborate with project managers to complete assigned tasks within established deadlines
Support project management efforts across residential, civil, commercial, and energy industry projects through a variety of tasks
Manage project intake, including documentation and coordination of survey requests
Prepare base drawing (DWG) files and project records for field and office workflows
Assist with field scheduling, ensuring accurate communication and coordination
Perform field data drafting, ensuring precision and adherence to project standards
Prepare and/or review legal descriptions and exhibits for multiple survey types
Conduct QA/QC reviews on a wide range of survey deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness
Requirements:
Experience researching county and city records, including chain of title, encumbrances, and prior survey records
Prior experience supporting commercial and residential land surveying projects and workflows
Proficiency in deed interpretation and plotting
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Carlson Survey software
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to thrive in a high‑performing environment
Excellent organization and communication skills
