Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Survey CAD Technician to support our residential, commercial, civil, and energy-sector surveying projects. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, exceptional organization, and the ability to collaborate in a fast‑paced, high‑performing environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare property plats, including easement, boundary, Land Title, ALTA, and subdivision surveys
  • Collaborate with project managers to complete assigned tasks within established deadlines
  • Support project management efforts across residential, civil, commercial, and energy industry projects through a variety of tasks
  • Manage project intake, including documentation and coordination of survey requests
  • Prepare base drawing (DWG) files and project records for field and office workflows
  • Assist with field scheduling, ensuring accurate communication and coordination
  • Perform field data drafting, ensuring precision and adherence to project standards
  • Prepare and/or review legal descriptions and exhibits for multiple survey types
  • Conduct QA/QC reviews on a wide range of survey deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness

Requirements:

  • Experience researching county and city records, including chain of title, encumbrances, and prior survey records
  • Prior experience supporting commercial and residential land surveying projects and workflows
  • Proficiency in deed interpretation and plotting
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Carlson Survey software
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to thrive in a high‑performing environment
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
