Join our Surgical department at the KU Eye Center located in Prairie Village, KS. We are willing to consider both full or part-time candidates. For more than 100 years, the Eye Center has offered the most advanced, evidenced-based eye and vision care. Our team provides the full spectrum of eye care services, from routine vision exams to advanced surgical procedures and breakthrough treatments for some of the most rare eye conditions. Surgical cases are performed on patients ages 16 and up and can include: Cataracts, Retina, Cornea Transplant, Glaucoma, Oculoplastic, Lasik & Refractive Surgery, Neuro-ophthalmology. In this role, you will be cross trained to other functions within the clinic including sterile processing, and front desk duties. We are willing to train a new graduate Surgical Technologist. Open positions start at 6:30am. Full-time positions are 4 - 10 hour shift and part-time positions will work 2 or 3 – 10 hour shifts.

Requirements:
High School Graduate or equivalent
Certificate or Associate’s Surgical Tech degree OR 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist in lieu of the certificate or degree requirement
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
