Job Description:

Join our team of professional and passionate health care professionals who are committed to the well-being of our patients and provide patient care based on competence, professional expertise, knowledge and evidence based practice. The Cert – Surgery Technologists(ORT) has a limited technical background and performs routine Patient Care activities and related non-professional services in the care of sub-acute and acute patients undergoing Surgical Procedures. We are a high volume OR with many specialities including general surgery, urology, ENT, orthospine, gastroenterology, GYN and CVOR utilizing the da Vinci Xi, da Vinci Si and Mako robots.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform routine Patient Care activities and related non-professional services in the care of sub-acute and acute patients undergoing Surgical Procedures
  • Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • Provide care/service to an acutely ill through rehabilitating pediatric through geriatric patient population

Requirements:

  • Minimum of six months' experience in an acute care Surgery Department and be able to perform as the scrub personnel in all specialties
  • OR Tech Certified required
  • CPR/BLS Certification required

Completion of Operating Room Technician Training Course
