Job Responsibility

The post is whole time with 40 standard hours per week attracting an ST6- ST8/ salary with 1 in 11 on-call rota with prospective cover shared with existent fellows and 3 Yorkshire specialist trainees
Fellows are involved in both elective and fracture clinics, elective theatre sessions, trauma theatre sessions as well as ward rounds
There is a weekly Friday morning MDT and clinical governance meetings with participation by all middle grades
Appointees are expected in rare circumstances to cover any other colleague's session due to sickness
All paediatric orthopaedic fellows receive comprehensive training in general orthopaedics and trauma, with additional exposure to gait analysis, deformity planning, and preoperative planning
The National Paediatric Orthopaedic Fellowship carries additional leadership responsibilities, including coordination of the weekly rota, oversight of daytoday departmental operations, and management of trainee and fellow leave
