Job Description

A hospital in San Francisco, CA is looking for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience in surgical oncology and/or plastic surgery to support a high-volume breast oncology practice. This role focuses primarily on breast tissue expansions following mastectomy and reconstruction.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform breast tissue expansions following mastectomy and reconstruction
  • Provide post-operative care for surgical oncology and breast patients
  • Perform in-office procedures, including biopsies, tissue expansion, and wound care
  • Conduct outpatient clinic visits and post-surgical follow-ups
  • Assess surgical sites and monitor healing and complications
  • Manage treatment plans in coordination with surgical oncologists and plastic surgeons

Requirements

  • Active CA Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License
  • Board Certification: ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC
  • First Assist Certification for NP
  • DEA with schedule 2
