Registered Nurse (RN): AZ or Compact license

Job Responsibility

Provide direct nursing care to neurology, neurosurgical, Level I trauma, and general surgery patients in this 32-bed Intensive Care Unit
Provide comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient
Organize and prioritize patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient
Document the nursing care plan and incorporate the nursing process following the standard of care for patient care area
Document changes in patient condition and response to interventions within established timeframes
Demonstrate accountability for own ethical behavior
Serve as an advocate for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices
Demonstrate the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition
Utilize SBAR format tool to notify physicians, and other providers of clinical findings, performs nurse-to-nurse report at the bedside
