Job Description

Beacon Hill Associates is hiring a Procedural Inventory Specialist to support surgical inventory operations within a healthcare setting. This role is responsible for stocking, replenishing, and managing medical supplies across operating rooms and procedural areas to ensure clinical teams have the materials they need for patient care.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain and replenish inventory across operating rooms and procedural areas
  • Restock core supply areas based on daily case volume (approximately 50-70 cases per day)
  • Identify high-need supply areas and prioritize restocking accordingly
  • Push supply carts and transport materials between locations
  • Perform put-backs and returns of unused materials
  • Use handheld devices to credit items back into inventory
  • Organize, break down, and restock materials after each shift
  • Ensure supply areas remain organized and procedure-ready

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum 1 year of medical inventory experience required
  • Comfortable with standing, bending, lifting, and active movement throughout shift
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload

Nice to have

Experience with Workday and Epic preferred

  • Performs daily documentation of blanket warmer temperatures on proper temperature logs
  • Assists with equipment inventory
  • Maintains and cleans PPE carts by adhering to general hospital standards for the use of PPE when in contact with bloodborne and airborne pathogens
