Certificate IV (minimum) in WHS, or equivalent (preferred)
Working knowledge of WHS legislation in Victoria and NSW
Understanding of ISO14001, 45001, 11014 and safety legislations

Job Responsibility

Responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of the Environmental, Health and Safety policies and programs to ensure corporate and local compliance
To ensure that all plant and equipment is always kept in safe operating condition and are available for use at all times
Responsible, in conjunction with the Global Engineering and EH&S teams, for ensuring that our manufacturing processes at this site are optimized for safety, productivity, quality and reliability
EH&S – Fully support and contribute to facility safety programs specifically regarding Management of Change, Process Safety Management [including HAZOP/Process Hazard Analysis]
Manage plant systems to maximize employee safety and minimize environmental risks
Drive Safety Culture: Collaborate with operational managers to embed a strong safety, quality, and compliance vision
Support the implementation of the safety management system framework
Develop, implement, and monitor site specific safety procedures (eg emergency response plans and traffic management plans), and encouraging shared ownership of safety across the workforce
Assist with the identification of hazard, assessing risks and implementing preventative measures
