Job Responsibility

Perform breast tissue expansions following mastectomy and reconstruction
Provide post-operative care for surgical oncology and breast patients
Perform in-office procedures, including biopsies, tissue expansion, and wound care
Conduct outpatient clinic visits and post-surgical follow-ups
Assess surgical sites and monitor healing and complications
Manage treatment plans in coordination with surgical oncologists and plastic surgeons

Performs minor in-office medical and/or surgical procedures
Writes appropriate prescriptions and administers medications
Documents all patient encounters, records observations, interventions, and actions in a medically appropriate manner on the patient's medical record
Acts as a patient advocate for the population served
Attends, participates and contributes to group/practice meetings and development of policies and procedures when requested
