Job Description:

An acute care hospital in Flagstaff, AZ is looking for Surgery Trauma Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to provide additional coverage for increased patient load. Providers will care for adult patients in both surgical trauma intensive care and general trauma settings.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide comprehensive care to adult patients in surgical trauma intensive care and general trauma units
  • Assist in surgical procedures and provide perioperative management under physician supervision
  • Collaborate closely with trauma surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Document care thoroughly in the electronic medical record, ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory standards

Requirements:

  • Active Arizona PA or NP License
  • Active ATLS certification
  • Board Certification required
  • DEA certification
  • COVID and Flu vaccine required
  • Acute Care experience required
