Job Description:

Central Peninsula Hospital is seeking a Surgery Tech to join our team! CPH is located in BEAUTIFUL Soldotna Alaska, on the Kenai Peninsula, one of the premier recreation destinations in the State.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure
  • Has an understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon
  • Ensures quality patient care during the operative procedure
  • Maintains the sterile field

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of healthcare experience
  • Knowledge of Surgical Instruments and Procedures
  • Knowledge of Anatomy/Physiology
  • Two years Clinical/ Hospital operating room experience or Graduate of surgery technology program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) (for bonus eligibility)
