We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join their team and play a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for every patient.

Job Responsibility

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations, and facilitating check-in and check-out processes
  • Warmly greeting and welcoming patients, providing initial assistance with appointments, payments, and scheduling inquiries
  • Efficiently managing a multi-line phone system, screening and routing calls, and taking accurate messages for clinical staff and providers
  • Ensuring all necessary patient verifications and authorizations are complete prior to appointments
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers to align on scheduling preferences and effectively respond to urgent patient needs
  • Offering comprehensive patient support by utilizing reference documents and tools to address non-clinical inquiries and messages, escalating as necessary
  • Performing diverse administrative tasks, including maintaining information and paging directory databases, and processing internal forms
  • Mastering the use of telephone systems and electronic medical records systems to execute daily job functions
  • Consistently meeting and exceeding organizational and departmental service standards
  • Managing and distributing incoming faxes, mail, and meticulously filing clinic-specific documentation

Requirements

  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis
  • Be able to work the schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in scheduling surgeries in a clinical environment
  • Proficiency in medical terminology
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems and software relevant to administrative functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, appropriate for a professional healthcare setting
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service, effectively solve problems, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Familiarity with Windows-based office software, computers, and operating systems
  • Adeptness at adjusting communication styles to suit the needs and understanding level of diverse individuals
