Job Responsibility:
Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations, check-ins, and check-outs
Warmly greet and welcome patients, addressing their initial inquiries regarding appointments, payments, and schedules
Efficiently manage a multi-line phone system, screening and routing calls, and taking accurate messages for clinical staff and providers
Ensure all necessary patient verifications and authorizations are complete prior to appointments
Collaborate closely with providers to align on scheduling preferences and promptly address urgent patient needs
Provide essential patient support, utilizing reference documents and tools to assist with inquiries
Execute various administrative tasks, including maintaining information and directory databases, and processing internal forms
Proficiently utilize telephone systems and patient management systems to perform daily tasks
Consistently meet or exceed organizational and departmental service standards
Address non-clinical patient relationship management inquiries, escalating as necessary
Respond to non-clinical patient messages, escalating complex issues when appropriate
Oversee the management and distribution of faxes, mail, and the organized filing of clinic-specific documentation
Requirements:
Be authorized to work in the United States
Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
Be able to work on a W-2 basis
High School Diploma or GED
Proficiency in medical terminology
Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems and relevant software
Strong verbal and written communication skills, appropriate for a professional setting
Exceptional customer service abilities, with a talent for problem-solving and managing multiple priorities effectively
Familiarity with standard office software, computers, and operating systems
Ability to adapt communication style to suit diverse audiences and ensure clear understanding
Proven capacity to remain calm and effective in high-pressure or stressful situations
