Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations, check-ins, and check-outs
  • Warmly greet and welcome patients, addressing their initial inquiries regarding appointments, payments, and schedules
  • Efficiently manage a multi-line phone system, screening and routing calls, and taking accurate messages for clinical staff and providers
  • Ensure all necessary patient verifications and authorizations are complete prior to appointments
  • Collaborate closely with providers to align on scheduling preferences and promptly address urgent patient needs
  • Provide essential patient support, utilizing reference documents and tools to assist with inquiries
  • Execute various administrative tasks, including maintaining information and directory databases, and processing internal forms
  • Proficiently utilize telephone systems and patient management systems to perform daily tasks
  • Consistently meet or exceed organizational and departmental service standards
  • Address non-clinical patient relationship management inquiries, escalating as necessary

Requirements

  • Be authorized to work in the United States

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in medical terminology
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems and relevant software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, appropriate for a professional setting
