Job Responsibility:
Plan and provide direct patient care as well as supervision of personnel practicing in surgical service areas
Make patient care assignments and facilitate patient throughout and directly observe staff performances
Proactively match existing resources seeking ways to provide patient care that supports staff and maintains a therapeutic environment, collaborative, team environment
Assure that staffing and resources are aligned with patient care needs
Communicate personnel related concerns to Nurse Manager
Identify opportunities for improvement and implement appropriate change using logical problem solving skills
Maintain Unit Professional standards
