Job Description:

Breedon Surfacing Solutions provide a wide range of asphalt surfacing contracting services across the UK, delivering a comprehensive asphalt surfacing solution for the construction and maintenance of public highways; infrastructure; residential and industrial developments and minor works. Our client base ranges from domestic and commercial clients to large contractors, local authorities and government bodies. We have a requirement for a squad that will operate in the East Central Belt / Fife & Tayside area. The squad will comprise of the following roles: 1 Foreperson, 1 Screwman, 1 Paver Operator, 2 Roller Operators, 1 Banksman, 1 3CX Operator, 1 Labourer.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out work in accordance with instructions given by the Foreperson
  • Ensure all plant and equipment is properly maintained, safe to use and operated in the manner for which it was designed
  • Maintain all PPE to a high standard to ensure it is in a good serviceable condition
  • Support less experienced operatives
  • Maintain professional working practices
  • Ensure compliance with company rules, procedures and safety commitments
  • Report all accidents, incidents, near miss events, issues and concerns
  • Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the quality requirements of the specification

Requirements:

  • Previous Surfacing Experience desirable
  • CSCS card desirable
  • Driving licence is essential for all roles
