Job Description

Our client, a leading insurance provider that offers an extensive range of commercial, group benefits, individual benefits and personal lines of insurance, is seeking an experienced Surety & Commercial Account Manager. This role involves managing client relationships and navigating insurance policies, providing an excellent opportunity for growth and development in a supportive and rewarding environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain relationships with multiple insurance companies/MGAs to negotiate and obtain quotes, binders, endorsements, etc.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, setting pre-renewal meetings, preparing information for policy review, creating estimates and quotes for clients/prospects, negotiating with carriers, remarketing accounts, processing policy changes, certificates, endorsements, and binding policies
  • Manage the daily servicing of the clients, answering questions, etc.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling products to clients and prospects when it’s in their best interest

Requirements

  • 3+ years of recent commercial lines account management experience
  • Commercial property OR Contractor account experience is preferred but not required
  • Experience with Applied Epic is preferred but not required
  • Ability to manage complex renewals while working under tight schedules and deadlines
  • Must be able to come into the office as needed for meetings and trainings
