Manages the planning, development, and implementation of procedures for the testing and evaluation of standard and special devices for all phases of product development and/or manufacturing. Specifies tests to be performed, compiles data, and makes recommendations for changes required in testing equipment procedures, manufacturing processes, new testing requirements and/or design of testing equipment. Recommends the purchase of test equipment. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Job Responsibility:
Defines, designs, documents, builds, calibrates, troubleshoots, and supports all manufacturing test fixtures
Review, update and create test cases to improve test coverage and effectiveness including product with non standard configuration
Perform data analysis and propose test improvement methods to reduce test cycle time
Prepare High Volume Manufacturing Product Transfer and set up test facilities, hardware and program
Software skills to create / modify manufacturing’s test scripts
Improves product quality through test first pass yield and trend data
Analyzes factory non-conformances and field escalations for root cause and corrective action
Resolves test issues cross functionally with Suppliers, Supplier Engineering, Pilot Manufacturing, and Design Engineering
Works cross functionally with design engineering and the pilot group for new product development
Ensures Plan Design Review / Non Standard Request deliverables are in place including test fixtures, test procedures, test specifications, and control charts
Conducts validation on all new test software and fixtures including product with non-standard configuration
Maintaining test fixture system

Requirements:
BS / MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, any relevant Engineering courses
A degree or equivalent with 6+ years of related experience as a SME and people manager
Technical writing skills to communicate and document designs and procedures
Verbal communication skills to discuss technical issues with Suppliers, Supplier Engineering, Pilot Manufacturing, and Design Engineering
Ability to accomplish assigned tasks with minimal technical guidance
WFE knowledge, clean tool, Dry/Wet Dep & Etch is an added advantage
