Support Workers - Community & Outreach (Lanarkshire) Are you a dedicated Care Professional looking for a role that offers variety, consistency, and the chance to make a real impact in your local community? We are currently seeking reliable Support Workers to join our teams across North and South Lanarkshire. Locations & Shifts We have vacancies covering both North Lanarkshire (Wishaw, Motherwell, Coatbridge, Airdrie) and South Lanarkshire (Lanark Town, Carluke). Shift Patterns: - Early: 07:45 - 16:45 - Late: 12:00 - 21:00 - Long Days: Occasional extended shifts as required. - Hours: Primarily full-time schedules. - Duration: Initial 3-month contract with a high likelihood of becoming ongoing/long-term. Requirements We are moving away from high-turnover agency models; we need professionals who are committed to building lasting relationships with service users. - Consistency: A commitment to regular shifts to ensure continuity of care. - Transport: Must be a car driver with access to your own vehicle (essential for outreach travel). - Experience: Previous experience in support work or homecare is highly desirable. - Gender Preferences: Due to the specific needs of our service users, we are seeking male staff for our North services, while requirements for the South are flexible. - Values: A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to care. Pay & Benefits - Competitive Hourly Rate: £17.50 to 18 PH umbrella (dependent on experience and specific shift). - Travel: Mileage allowance provided for community outreach. - Stability: Consistent rotas without the "revolving door" of different staff faces. - Growth: Opportunity for long-term placement as we look toward permanent recruitment.
