As a Support Worker you will build meaningful relationships and support people to develop life skills, achieve their goals, and connect with their communities. Our approach is person-centred and strengths-based, recognising that behaviour is a form of communication and requires compassion, patience and trauma-informed practices. We are looking for people who are calm, resilient, non-judgemental and solutions-focused, with a genuine interest in supporting others to build confidence, independence and positive life outcomes. Our Supported Living Services provides people with Autism and or an Intellectual Disability with 24/7 support. Supported Living supports people to live as independently as possible in their communities. Our RIDSAS service provides 24/7 specialist rehabilitation support for people with Intellectual Disabilities who have high and complex needs and who have had contact with the judicial system.

Requirements:
A full, current New Zealand driver license
Eligibility to work in New Zealand
A current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to complete one at our cost
Willingness to undergo vetting as part of our safeguarding commitment
Availability to work regular weekend shifts
Experience in disability, mental health, justice, or community support is an advantage, but not essential.
