Job Description:

Make a Real Difference – Become a Support Worker in Norwich. Do you have a passion for supporting others to live fulfilling, independent lives? We’re seeking a compassionate and proactive Support Worker to provide person-centred care and meaningful companionship to an individual living independently in Norwich. This energetic and sociable person loves being out and about—whether that’s swimming, trampolining, or browsing the shops. We’re looking for someone who can help them stay involved in their community, so good local knowledge, a strong sense of direction, and a full UK driving licence are essential. As a Support Worker, you’ll play an important part in enhancing someone’s daily life through engaging activities and a warm, empathetic approach.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing high-quality care on a 2:1 basis
  • Engaging in meaningful activities
  • Taking the individual out in the community to promote social interaction and well-being
  • Supporting with household tasks
  • Clear and confident communication in the individual's preferred manner

Requirements:

  • Compassionate and proactive
  • Person-centred care approach
  • Good local knowledge
  • Strong sense of direction
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities
  • Previous experience supporting individuals with autism
  • Previous experience supporting individuals with epilepsy
  • Previous experience supporting individuals with behaviours that may be perceived as challenging
