This role is based in a warm and welcoming service that currently supports four individuals with learning disabilities, with a fifth person joining soon. Each person has their own unique personality, interests, and support needs. You’ll be part of a team that empowers people to make choices, build independence, and enjoy life on their own terms.
Job Responsibility:
Support individuals with learning disabilities to live life to the fullest
Support people to enjoy activities (visiting zoos, theme parks, football matches, cinema, pantomimes, swimming)
Explore interests in trains, airplanes, music, dancing
Get creative with arts and crafts
Cooking and enjoying good food together
Support individuals to stay active in the community and maintain physical health
Help with transport to activities and appointments
Empower people to make choices, build independence, and enjoy life on their own terms
Requirements:
Caring nature and mature, thoughtful outlook

Honesty and reliability
Ability to think on feet and solve problems calmly
Full UK manual driving licence
