This role is based within a residential care home, providing consistent support to residents in a safe and nurturing environment. The home operates on a round-the-clock basis, offering a range of shift patterns to ensure continuity of care at all times. This includes weekday, weekend, and overnight shifts, with staff working as part of a dedicated team to deliver high-quality care and support 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Job Responsibility:
Implement person-centered support plans, promote independence, manage risks, encourage relationships, and ensure legal and best practice compliance
Develop flexible, engaging activity plans that promote autonomy and personal growth
Support individuals in maintaining healthy lifestyles and managing their health needs
Facilitate effective communication and maintain detailed, person-centered records
Oversee medication processes and support individuals in self-administration
Maintain a safe, clean-living environment and adhere to health and safety protocols
