Job Description:

A supported living services for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs. Some of the individuals who we support may also present challenging behaviour. The role involves supporting individuals to live as independently as possible, become integral members of the community, and achieve their goals and aspirations through individual care pathways.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills
Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities
Assisting with the development of person centred plans (including employment, education and other opportunities)
Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments
Providing personal care where needed
Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development

Requirements:

Previous experience as a support worker or healthcare assistant beneficial but not necessary
Caring and compassionate
Able to be active and participate in activities like swimming, days out, and long walks
Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check

Nice to have:

Previous experience as a support worker or healthcare assistant
