As a valued Support Worker with Thera Southwest, you will be part of an inclusive team supporting adults with a learning disability. You will be working in Trowbridge the location is a shared supported living where 3 men who love shopping, going out for lunch, cinema, going out to their social clubs, sports and going to the pub .This is an exciting opportunity to work with different individuals with different needs which will give a varied working week and opportunities to use a variety of skills you already have or would like to develop for career progression. You will be working alongside other staff where there is a real sense of teamwork, supporting people in their daily lives at home or getting out in the community with people. This can be a fun and rewarding but also at times challenging and demanding role. Thera South West is unique we are led by people with a learning disability. Requirements:
No previous experience or qualifications required
Full driving license preferred but not essential
Compassionate, caring, confident and resilient
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-starter, with a high level of motivation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident, articulate, and professional
Keenness to learn in a fast-paced environment and creatively solve problems
Desire to embrace our values and vision and have fun
