Support Worker

Meet Zack - a music-loving guy with a sharp sense of humour and an interest in reptiles. We're on the hunt for someone just as quick-witted and down-to-earth as he is, who can bring positive energy, patience, and creativity into his world. Your job? Help him stay active - gym sessions, moral support, and a confidence boost without morphing into a budget reality-show trainer. He plays wheelchair rugby (aka Murderball), grows plants, plays guitar, and watches a variety of shows and documentaries. He's also a reptile guy - the snake-owning kind, so you'll be helping to clean their habitat and handle them like it's no big deal. Zack uses a wheelchair, has an acquired brain injury, and sometimes requires help with planning. He also needs a hand in the shower. He's got a daughter, so you need to be good with kids. It's a lone working role with a 4-hour daily break while Zack does his own thing.
