Job Description

DAY Support Worker - Male only unit. £14.00 to £14.00 per hour. Warrington | Callands. Are you driven by compassion and committed to excellence in care? Join our dedicated team supporting males with complex needs including Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Parkinson’s Disease, enduring mental health conditions and behavioural support requirements. At the heart of our service is a belief in strength in unity—working together to create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every individual is respected, empowered, and supported to live meaningfully. Dovehaven Care Homes are Recruiting for a Support Worker to join our team at Callands, Callands Road, Warrington. Working DAYS 7am- 7pm on a rota basis with alternate weekend availability required. 44hr & 33hr Contract available.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver compassionate, person-centred care

  • Implement care plans and behaviour support strategies
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Uphold accountability through accurate documentation and reflective practice

Requirements

  • A caring, respectful approach to diverse needs and backgrounds
  • Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic care environment
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care and PBS (training provided)
  • Commitment to excellence and continuous learning
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
