Job Description:

We’re recruiting full time Support Workers to join our team. Our Milton Keynes service provides short-term supported accommodation (28 days) for people who are homeless. We offer wrap-around support to help people gain the skills and confidence to live independently.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support adults (18+) to access services and resources that help them move into sustainable accommodation and live independently
  • Help people build stability, confidence, and hope for the future
  • Housing options, benefits, employment, education, or training
  • Accessing food banks, mental health support, and substance misuse services
  • Building essential life skills such as budgeting and paying bills
  • Re-establishing connections with family, friends, and the wider community

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with people in supported accommodation who are experiencing homelessness or have a history of rough sleeping
  • Experience supporting individuals with additional needs, including substance misuse or mental health challenges
  • The ability to maintain accurate case notes and records, with a basic level of IT literacy
  • A compassionate, resilient and person-centred approach to support
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle would be preferred
