Job Description:

Support Worker - Edge of Bristol. Are you experienced in supporting adults on the autistic spectrum and confident in managing challenging behaviour? We're looking for a Support Worker to join our dedicated team near Bristol. This role requires resilience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting people who may display challenging behaviour. A rewarding role where you can make a real difference.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide person-centred support to individuals on the autistic spectrum
  • Help them access the community and enjoy social activities
  • Go shopping and manage daily living tasks
  • Cook meals and develop independence skills

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months relevant experience in care or support work
  • Experience working with adults who display challenging behaviour
  • Ability to provide 2 years of referencing
  • Enhanced DBS (ideally registered on the Update Service)
  • Ideally a driver, due to the location and community-based activities
