Job Description:

Join an industry leader as a Support Worker and empower individuals to achieve their goals and live the life that they choose. Play a vital role in enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and young individuals by providing tailored, person-centred support.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver high-quality, individualised support to people with disabilities
Assist with personal care, mobility, and skill development
Build meaningful connections and provide mentorship and emotional support
Support community participation and recreational activities
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement support plans
Advocate for customer rights and promote independence
Create safe, trauma-informed environments for young people with complex needs

Requirements:

Experience in disability, aged care, or family/community services
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain
Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, sleep overs, weekends & public holidays
Certificate IV in Disability or Child, Youth & Family Intervention (or willingness to obtain)
Availability for 24/7 rostered shifts including days, sleep overs, weekends & public holidays
