Job Description:

Provide person-centered support to NDIS participants. At Kanda, we’re more than a care provider – we’re a community. Our services span disability and NDIS support, children, youth and family services, aged home care, veterans’ care, and community nursing.

Job Responsibility:

Provide direct care and support to individuals with varying disabilities
Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
Support individuals in attending medical appointments, accessing community resources, social inclusion, and wellbeing activities
Provide transport support, including safely assisting participants who use manual wheelchairs
Monitor and document client progress and care provided
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, therapists, and other team members to ensure holistic care

Requirements:

NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing and eligible to obtain prior to commencement
Valid unrestricted drivers licence
Available to work across a variety of shifts (including mornings, evenings, sleepovers)
Experience supporting people with disabilities in community or residential settings
Background in related support fields such as mental health, aged care etc.
