Support Worker

• support individual service users with learning disabilities including challenging behaviour to undertake every day activities and functions
• support individual service users to attain personal independence, choice and responsibility in a homely environment
• demonstrate unconditional acceptance and tolerance
• integrate individual service users into the local community life and activities
• establish and maintain existing relationships
• promote friendship with and personal development of the individual service users

• full flexibility (shifts are completed on a six-week rota but do not follow a set pattern)
• caring disposition
• willingness to complete regular sleepovers as needed
• willingness to learn
• experience is not required

full training package covering mandatory training, de-escalation training, and when applicable a Health and Social Care diploma
