You’ll provide support across Group Support, Community Access, In-Home Support, and Supported Independent Living (SILS). This means helping people with disability live as independently as possible, whether at home or out in the community. Every day is different! We’re looking for people with availability to work across a fortnightly roster including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and overnight.
Job Responsibility:
Support individuals with personal care, daily routines, and household tasks
Assist with meal planning, cooking, and light cleaning
Facilitate community connection through social outings and appointments
Help individuals build life skills such as budgeting and social interaction
Maintain strong relationships with families, friends, and support networks
Requirements:
Empathy, reliability, and a proactive attitude
Experience in one-on-one and group support settings
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including sleepovers (penalty rates apply)
A current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or willingness to obtain
Ability to manage behaviours and implement positive reinforcement strategies
Undertake a Fit2Work National Criminal History Check
Hold or be willing to obtain a WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Check
