We currently have an opportunity for a caring, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our team in St Georges Cross, Glasgow. We are currently recruiting for Support Workers for a variety of shifts from Monday - Sunday. At this service we support 4 gentlemen to live independently in their own and work with a tailored care and support plan to meet their individual needs. They are based in St Georges Cross area in a 4 bedroom bungalow. There are usually 4 team members at the service at a time. One Person we support has epilepsy but all relevant training will be provided. The people we support here love to go out to the community and shops. They love to go out for runs in the car and to use public transport including buses and trains in the area. They are keen to be supported to access new and local opportunities. Also some of the people we support love football, Celtic and memorabilia. Shift patterns are between 7.30am- 9.30pm. A wakened night shift is 9.30pm - 7.30am (occasional cover only). For this particular role, a male colleague is required. This is a genuine occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010.
