Support worker

Dovehaven Care Homes are Recruiting for a Support Worker to join our team at Cedar Garden, Tag Lane, Preston. We currently have Days & Nights availible, working hours will be 8-8 with everyother weekend availability required- 44hr, 33hr, or 22hr Contracs Available. Cedar Garden is a 30 bed dementia specialist, male only facility. Our aim is to ensure all our residents feel as comfortable as possible, our homes promote independence, dignity and respect through positive risk taking and empowerment. Please note – There is a genuine occupational requirement as to why Male only applicants are needed, as you will be supporting males with very hight dementia. As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital part in helping individuals achieve their goals and maintain independence. You’ll support with personal care, daily living activities, and engagement in therapeutic routines, using trauma-informed approaches and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
