Support Worker

Seeking 1 additional full time member of staff for our Extra Care Scheme in Huddersfield, HD4. This is a Full Time post - 37.5hrs pw, and will involve mainly day shifts. Your role would require you to support individuals within self contained flats, all of which share the same building which is a large purpose built building located on a main road with a large garden for all tenants to enjoy. Within this role you are required to support tenants with ages ranging from 65+ who just love getting involved in the below activities. Zumba, Baking, Cinema Nights, Quiz Nights, Arts and Crafts. They all have their own likes and dislikes and will require you to respect this and support them to live their best lives possible. Our staff team are great, and support the people we support to: Maintain their homes, Support with keeping independence, Moving & positioning, Enjoy an active social life, Support with maintaining relationships.
