Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out duties as required under the direction of the Manager/Shift Leader
  • Be involved in meeting each service user’s individual needs on a daily basis
  • Support service user’s individual priority needs, completing daily timetables as directed
  • Facilitate the involvement of service user’s in daily household tasks
  • Assist in providing basic care where people have a physical illness
  • Carry out personal care as part of the role depending on the client needs
  • Report any client general issues/concerns to the Manager
  • Participate in any service user’s leisure pursuits at home and within the community
  • Act as Key-Worker for identified service user(s) as designated by the Manager
  • Advocate on behalf of service users where appropriate
  • Work flexible hours to meet individual needs
  • Participate in the support planning process as directed
  • Undertake any other additional duties as reasonably required by the Company

Requirements:

  • Driving licence
  • Must be able to carry out personal care
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
  • Must be able to transport service users by driving Company vehicles
