Support Worker

• Assist people with disabilities to participate in flexible learning programs, recreation, social activities and community-based supports aligned to their NDIS goals
• Support clients through activities designed to build confidence, independence and practical life skills
• Help people achieve their NDIS goals by developing daily skills such as housekeeping, personal care, social skills and budgeting
• Assist with aspects of personal care where required
• Support with meal planning, cooking, light cleaning and facilitating community connection
• Provide support during daily activities such as going for a walk, going to the movies or accompanying to an appointment
• Help maintain connection to family, friends, and services

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous
• Availability to work a variety of shifts across a permanent fortnightly roster
• Good computer skills and experience using Word, Excel and Outlook
• Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Drivers License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle
