As a Female Support Worker in Bangor, you’ll help make the everyday remarkable for the people we support. We are dedicated to supporting adults to live a fulfilled and enriched life in the community, as a Support Worker, you can play a vital role in this. Role: Female Support Worker. Location: Treborth, Bangor. Hours: We have part time hours available, 16 hours. Please speak to us about the hours you are looking to do. Your shift pattern will include weekends and sleep-ins. Salary: £13.59 per hour and our sleep-in shifts at £60 per night and our travel expenses is paid 45p per mile. Contract: Permanent. In this role, you will actively support an individual to make her own choices and work towards goals that matter to her. She has full capacity and is clear about what she wants, with staff providing support and encouragement where needed. You will support her to attend appointments and provide prompting with personal care when required. Building a positive, trusting relationship and supporting her to maintain her independence within her own home is essential. The individual experiences seizures, which are well managed and under control. She enjoys going out, shopping, and having fun, and is very much looking forward to welcoming a new staff member into her life. As a trusted Support Worker, you will empower her to follow through on her choices, including taking part in structured activities that build confidence and develop new skills. You will also offer practical support with everyday responsibilities such as managing bills, maintaining her home, being a good neighbour, and staying connected with friends and family.
