Job Description:

Our services span disability and NDIS support, children, youth and family services, aged home care, veterans’ care, and community nursing. Kanda is seeking Support Workers to provide 1:1 in-home support. This role is ideal for someone who is calm, patient, and confident delivering personal care within a trauma-informed framework.

Job Responsibility:

Provide direct care and personal support
Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, and light household duties
Administer or assist with medication as required
Support mobility and manual handling needs
Monitor and document client progress and care provided
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, therapists, and other team members to ensure holistic care

Requirements:

NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing and eligible to obtain prior to commencement
Valid unrestricted drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
Available to work across a full shift pattern (mornings, evenings and sleepovers)
Experience with personal care & manual handling
Comfortable providing calm and patient in-home support
